Blockchain Infrastructure & Security Engineer

The role in one sentence

Own end-to-end production reliability, multi-chain protocol integration, and on-chain security for the UnifyVerse routing platform — moving nine-figure monthly transaction volume across our partner exchanges and wallets.

About the role

UnifyVerse v1 is live in production as the routing layer above cross-chain aggregators and bridges, carrying nine-figure monthly transaction volume for our partner integrations. v2 ships in M6 (Oct - Nov 2026), and migrating live partner traffic onto the v2 modules without service interruption or SLO breach is the highest-stakes engineering responsibility in the company over the next 12 months, we need this role in place to make that landing safely.

We are hiring a Blockchain Infrastructure & Security Engineer to be the bridge between infrastructure-as-code, chain-protocol mechanics, and adversary-resistant execution. You will report to the founder/CEO and pair daily with the routing-core and ML leads, owning the production posture of the platform end-to-end — from EVM RPC fleet and bridge integrations, through CI/CD and observability, through Solidity executor reviews and audit coordination.

This is a senior individual-contributor role for someone who has carried primary on-call for revenue-critical systems, shipped production smart-contract code on EVM chains, and run the security and DevOps practice for a multi-chain platform — ideally with prior experience in regulated financial infrastructure where downtime has a price tag.

What you'll do

  • Own production reliability of the multi-chain platform end-to-end: EVM RPC fleet across mainnet environments, deployment infrastructure, and post-deploy monitoring.
  • Run the DevOps stack — CI/CD for contract and service builds, infrastructure-as-code for multi-chain environments, fork-based testing, and progressive deployment to mainnet.
  • Lead incident response and primary on-call: define runbooks, alerting, and triage playbooks for failures across RPC providers, bridges, and contract layers
  • Smart-contract security: review and deploy v2 thin executors across the EVM family, integrate Slither / Foundry-based fuzzing and invariant testing into CI, and coordinate external audits with EVM-specialist firms.
  • Own chain and protocol integration with AMM/CLMM venues and cross-chain bridges, routing-layer reliability and partner integrations.
  • Drive the security practice across the team: threat modelling, secrets and key-rotation hygiene, supply-chain hardening, and review gates before any mainnet change.
  • Build the observability stack: metrics, structured logs, distributed tracing, SLO dashboards, and routing-decision audit trails.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of production engineering across financial-grade or high-throughput systems.
  • Hands-on production experience with EVM RPC fleet operations;
  • Deep familiarity with Solidity, EVM internals, and contract security / audit-readiness.
  • Strong DevOps practice: CI/CD and deployment automation for multi-chain and traditional environments, infrastructure provisioning, and environment management.
  • Production-scale Kubernetes cluster operations, with streaming/storage at scale.
  • Smart-contract testing rigour.
  • Primary on-call, runbook, alerting, and postmortem discipline

Nice to have

  • Background in regulated-fintech or capital-markets infrastructure.
  • Experience building agentic AI assistant
  • Familiarity with Solana blockchain useful for the SVM-side v2 executor down the line.

What we offer

  • Direct ownership of production at a company where reliability and security are the product
  • Senior individual-contributor compensation with equity
  • Hybrid working from our office
  • A small senior team
  • Visa / IND sponsorship support for the right non-EU candidate, on the basis of the rare combined SRE + protocol + security profile.
